Mayfield, PA: Parish Feast Day of St. John the Baptist Cathedral

On Monday evening, July 6th, on the eve of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, Bishop George of Mayfield led the All-Night Vigil in St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Mayfield, PA. Co-serving with His Grace were Mitred Archpriest John Sorochka (St. John’s Cathedral), Archpriest David Hritcko (St. Basil’s Church, Simpson, PA) Archpriest Serafim Gan (St. Seraphim of Sarov Church, Sea Cliff, NY), Protodeacon Gregory Petrochko (St. John’s), and Deacon Nicholas Olhovsky (Holy Trinity Monastery, Jordanville, NY).

On Tuesday, July 7th, on the feast day of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, Bishop George celebrated the Divine Liturgy. Concelebrating with Bishop George were Mitred Archpriest John Sorochka, Archpriest David Hritcko, Archpriest Serafim Gan, Abbot German (Ciuba) (St. Stephan's Church, Old Forge, PA), Protodeacon Gregory Petrochko, and Deacon Nicholas Olhovsky. After the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, a luncheon was held in the Cathedral’s parish center.
