Wayne, WV: Bishop George officiated at the Divine Liturgy in Christ the Savior Church

On Sunday, August 30, His Grace, Bishop George of Mayfield, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Christ the Savior Church, located in Wayne, WV, for the parish’s patronal feast day. On the eve of the feast, rector Priest John Moses, led the All-Night Vigil. For the Liturgy, His Grace was co-served by Fr. John, Hieromonk Seraphim and Hieromonk Filotei from Holy Cross Monastery, Hieromonk George from the Xenophontos Monastery on Mt. Athos, and Deacon Jeremiah Davis. The festive Liturgy was well attended, and Bishop George delivered an inspiring sermon. Following the Liturgy, a processional was held and a delicious luncheon was prepared by the sisterhood.
