Wayne, WV: The Feast Day of Holy Cross Monastery

On Sunday, September 27, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the brethren of Holy Cross Monastery marked the monastery's patronal feast day. On the eve of the feast, Abbot Seraphim (Voepel) served the All-Night Vigil with the Bringing out of the Cross. On Sunday morning, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by monastery and local clergy. After the Liturgy, a bountiful, Lenten luncheon was served for all in attendance. We offer our visitors photographs here:
