New York: ROCOR’s First Hierarch led the Divine Services in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign on the Feast of Christ’s Nativity

On Wednesday the 6th and Thursday the 7th of January, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, led the festal divine services in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York. The First Hierarch was co-served by His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar bishop Jerome, Bishop of Manhattan, and Synodal clergy. The Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God was present at all services. The following day, on the Synaxis of the Mother of God, His Eminence celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Seraphim of Sarov Church in Sea Cliff, NY, while Bishop Jerome led the services in Synod.
