Palm Coast, FL: The Kursk Root Icon visited St. Nicholas Church

On Wednesday, February 3, the Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God visited St. Nicholas Church in Palm Coast, FL. The icon was greeted by His Grace, Bishop Victor (formerly of Podolsk – retired) and a multitude of the faithful. After the greeting of the icon, His Grace led a moleben with akathist, co-served by diocesan secretary Archpriest Serge Lukianov. After the service, Fr. Serge greeted Vladyka and the parishioners on behalf of the First Hierarch of ROCOR, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, presenting the parish with a copy of the Kursk Icon. A dinner was then offered for His Grace and the guests in the parish trapeza. The icon then began its journey from Palm Coast to northern Florida and the city of Jacksonville.
