Memorial services for Dowager Grand Duchess Leonida Georgievna Romanov in the Eastern American Diocese

On Monday, May 24, members of the Russian Imperial Union-Order (RIUO) attended memorial services for the newly departed handmaiden of God, the Dowager Grand Duchess Leonida Georgievna Romanov, in Our Lady of Tikhvin Church in Howell, NJ, and Holy Annunciation Church in Flushing, NY. Present in Howell was the General Representative for the East Coast of the U.S., Marina V. von Jahr, who recollected Her Imperial Highness and expressed her condolences to the Russian Imperial House and all the members of RIUO. A third memorial service was served on May 25 at 10:30 AM in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign at the request of the senior member of the English Chapter, Mr. Don Rosenberg. Panihidas will be served on the ninth and fortieth days in the above-mentioned churches, as well.
