Glen Cove, NY: A Performance by Children’s Theater Company "Verbochki" in the parish hall of Holy Virgin Intercession Church

The Children’s Theater Company "Verbochki" began its work in Holy New Martyrs of Russia Church in Brooklyn under the direction of Matushka Maria Ivanova, according to the parish’s official site. On Sunday, June 29, a significant event took place in the life of "Verbochki" – the Company’s first performance outside of its own parish. The children performed the musical "Mama" for the parishioners of Holy Virgin Intercession Church in Glen Cove, NY.

Children and their parents departed with deep gratitude for the invitation and warm reception by rector Priest Alexandre Antchoutine and his parish.

"It is so wonderful to feel that we are all one big family, to feel that we are not indifferent to the future of our children, and the children have fun and enjoy each other’s company and ours. These trips are a great joy for all of us."

The children’s theater company will gladly accept invitations to perform in various parishes.
