Brooklyn, NY: Metropolitan Hilarion celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Holy New Martyrs Church on the Feast Day of St. Panteleimon

On Tuesday, August 9, on the feast day of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, the first Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Holy New Martyrs & Confessors of Russia Church in Brooklyn, NY. His Eminence was co-served by the dean of the New York City Deanery, Archpriest Alexei Ohotin, parish clerics Archpriest Victor Tseshkovsky and Archpriest Boris Oparin, Protodeacon Igor Panachev (cleric of St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York, NY), Deacon Eugene Kallaur (cleric of St. Seraphim Church in Sea Cliff, NY), and parish Deacon Petr Utkin.

To the joy of all those present, the Metropolitan brought the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God with him to the church. Photos of the feast day are available below:
