Sea Cliff, NY: The second stage of the iconography of St. Seraphim Church, dedicated to the Millennial Path of the Russian Orthodox Church, has begun

As reported by the parish website of St. Seraphim of Sarov Church in Sea Cliff, NY, June marked the completion of the first stage of the iconography of the church’s dome, namely an icon of the Mother of God and the prophets depicted on Her wonderworking Kursk Root Icon. Now iconography-priest Paul Akmolin (cleric of the Mid-American Diocese) will begin the second stage – the icons of the evangelists and four archangels. The unique iconography is dedicated to the Millennial Path of the Russian Orthodox Church. The approximate cost of the iconography is $150 per square foot. The names of donors and their loved ones, both living and departed, will be added to a special commemoration book.
