Jacksonville, FL: Metropolitan Hilarion led the divine services in St. John of Shanghai Mission

On Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of June, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, led the divine services in St. John of Shanghai Mission in Jacksonville, FL. During the All Night Vigil, His Eminence was co-served by diocesan secretary and temporary rector Archpriest Serge Lukianov, Abbot David (Pierce; rector of Holyrood Hermitage in Jacksonville), Abbot Martin (Hohlfeld; rector of Ascension Monastery in Riverview, FL), Archpriest Theodore Pisarchuk (rector of St. Justin Martyr Church in Jacksonville), and the parish deacons: Fr. Ivan Voloshchuk and Fr. Leo Opie.

The following morning, the First Hierarch celebrated the Divine Liturgy, co-served by the above-mentioned clergy (with the exception of Fr. Theodore, in whose place came Hieromonk Arkady (Migunov), cleric of the same parish). During the Small Entrance, His Eminence awarded Deacon Ivan the right to wear the double orarion. Upon completion of the Liturgy, parish warden Vladimir Y. Timin, treasurer Inna N. Kramer, and secretary Irina M. Shann were all awarded diocesan gramatas for their work in founding the parish. The honored guests and all present were then offered a bountiful luncheon.
