Beloved in the Lord Fathers, Brothers and Sisters,

This year, from December 23-27, 2011, the Protection Church in the city of Ottawa, Canada will host the annual St. Herman’s Orthodox Youth Conference.

As in previous years, I appeal to the rectors of parishes, monasteries and church communities of the Eastern America & New York Diocese to undertake a special plate collection before the month of December to collect funds for this worthy purpose, asking their parishioners and worshippers to donate generously, in accordance with their means.

The collected funds should be forwarded to the following address:
