Today the Eastern American Diocese marks 35th Anniversary of the Repose of Archbishop Nikon (Rklitsky)

On Sunday, September 4, the faithful of the Eastern American Diocese mark the 35th anniversary of the repose of Archbishop Nikon (Rklitsky), formerly of Washington and Florida, administrator of the diocese. Archbishop Nikon was a significant historical figure in the development of the Church Abroad, spreading the Gospel of Christ far and wide throughout the North American continent.
