New York: The services of Bishop Jerome

On Monday, September 21, on the feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God, His Grace Jerome, Bishop of Manhattan, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign. His Grace was co-served by Archimandrite Ioann (Magramm), Archpriest Andrei Sommer, Priest John Radu, Hieromonk Nicholas (Perekrestov), Priest Joachim Provatakis, Priest Sergei Sokolov, and Deacon Dimitri Temidis.

On Thursday, September 24, His Grace led the funeral of Yuri Schidlovsky at the Dormition Convent at Novo-Diveevo. Bishop Jerome was co-served by Mitred Archpriest Alexander Fedorowski, Archpriest Leonid Kishkovsky, Archpriest Mark Burachek, Hieromonk Nicholas (Perekrestov), and Protodeacon Sergei Arlievsky. The Cadet Honor Guard held the banner of the Sumskoy Cadet Corps near the casket. The newly departed was buried with U.S. military honors in the cadet section of the monastery cemetery.
