Norwich, CT: The Kursk Root Icon visited Holy New Martyrs & Confessors of Russia Church

On Wednesday, December 15, the Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God visited the Church of the Holy New Martyrs & Confessors of Russia in Norwich, CT. The icon’s guardian, Archpriest Serge Lukianov, served a moleben and akathist. Also praying in church was Priest Nicholas Dellerman (rector of St. Nicholas Church in Norwich). Upon completion of the moleben, Fr. Serge presented the parish with a copy of the Kursk Icon with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the First Hierarch of ROCOR, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion.
