Brooklyn, NY: Bishop Jerome led the Liturgy and Rite of Holy Unction in the Church of the New Martyrs of Russia

 

On Sunday, March 27, the third Sunday of Great Lent, the Veneration of the Holy Cross, His Grace, Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia in Brooklyn, NY. His Grace was co-served by deputy rector Archpriest Victor Tseshkovsky, Protodeacon Dimitri Temidis and parish clerics Archpriest Boris Oparin and Deacon Petr Utkin. The miraculous Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God was present for the divine services.

 

On Sunday evening, a multitude of parishioners and the faithful gathered in the church for the Sacrament of Holy Unction. Bishop Jerome led the Rite of Unction, co-served by the parish and local clergy.
