Wayne, WV: Bishop George led the divine services on the Annunciation in Holy Cross Monastery

 

On Wednesday the 6th and Thursday the 7th of April, on the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, divine services in Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV were led by His Grace, monastery abbot Bishop George of Mayfield.

 

Co-serving His Grace at the All-Night Vigil on Wednesday evening and the festal Divine Liturgy on Thursday morning were monastery clerics Abbot Seraphim (Voepel), deputy abbot of the monastery, Hieromonk Alexander (Frizzell), Hieromonk Andrew (O’Leary), Hieromonk Nektarios (Merry), Hierodeacon Sergius (Wilson), and Deacon Jeremiah Davis.

 

Upon completion of the Liturgy, a bountiful luncheon was served in the monastery refectory.
