After the Icon was greeted by in procession, Vespers were served in the church by the rector, Priest Seraphim Wing. Upon completion of Vespers, Archpriest Serge Lukianov, who was accompanying the Icon, presented the parish a copy of the Kursk Icon with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion.

The Icon then traveled to Erie, where it visited the Church of the Nativity. The rector, Archpriest Pimen Simon, served a moleben to the Mother of God, co-served by Fr. Serge, Archpriest Ronald Hazuda (pastor emeritus of St. Nicholas Church in Erie), and parish clerics: Priests Theodore Jurewicz and Hierotheus Popoff, and Deacons Markel Wassell and Stefan Klimczak.
