On Bright Monday, April 25, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Lakewood, NJ. His Grace was co-served by cathedral rector Protopresbyter Valery Lukianov, Archimandrite Ioann (Magramm; cleric of the Mid-American Diocese), who accompanied His Grace, and cathedral clerics Priest Sergio Silva and Deacon Nathan Mousselli.

On Palm Sunday, April 17, the feast of the Entrance of Our Lord into Jerusalem, His Grace George, Bishop of Mayfield, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Christ the Savior Church in Wayne, WV. His Grace was co-served by rector Archpriest John Moses, and clerics of neighboring Holy Cross Monastery: Hieromonk Andrew (O’Leary) and Deacon Jeremiah Davis. During the sixth hour, Bishop George tonsured Victor Lahnovych and Matthew Long readers.

The students, aged 11 to 15, were accompanied by school principal and parish rector Priest Alexandre Antchoutine, and administrator Natalia Fekula.

In a brief statement released on Great Thursday, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion thanked all the clergy and faithful of the Eastern American Diocese for their prayers during his recovery. On Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of March, Orthodox men of all ages visited Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, for the Orthodox Men’s Pilgrimage, organized by members of St. Xenia’s Church in Methuen, MA. The pilgrims were led by parish rector Archpriest Michael Crowley. On Saturday morning, several of the pilgrims assisted as altar servers for the Divine Liturgy. After lunch, the group met with Archimandrite Luke, abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery.
