On Tuesday, March 9, on the feast of the 1st and 2nd Findings of the Head of St. John the Baptist, Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov, rector of All Saints Church in Krasnoe Selo, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. George’s Church at the diocesan center in Howell, NJ, thereby completing his visit to the Eastern American Diocese. Upon completion of the Liturgy, Fr. Artemy gave an interview to diocesan Media Office correspondent Reader Peter Lukianov.

The E AD MC is pleased to share music for the Great Feast of the Annunciation, which coincides this year with Bright Wednesday, placing special demands on church choirs. On Monday, March 8, Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov returned to the diocesan center in Howell, NJ from Holy Cross Monastery. That night, on the eve of the feast of the First and Second Findings of the Holy Head of St. John the Baptist, Fr. Artemy led the Festal Matins in St. George’s Church. A special joy was present during the service – the kamilavka of St. John of Kronstadt arrived from St. Seraphim of Sarov Church in Sea Cliff, NY.

On Monday, March 1, delegates from across the Eastern American Diocese gathered in St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Mayfield, PA for the official opening of the diocesan Lenten Retreat and Pastoral Conference. At 11:00 AM, diocesan secretary Archpriest Serge Lukianov, co-served by Deacon Nathan Mousselli, served a moleben before the beginning of any good work, so as to call down the grace of the Holy Spirit on our archpastors and conference delegates.
